ANYONE who becomes full of anxious about some mullah waving it about
must also believe in such nonsense as the 'evil eye' that is so prominent in the Middle East
When I was posted in SW Turkey people painted their homes, shops, and plastered
their babies with little blue glass trinkets which were suppose to be protective
FATWAS are much like threats that the evil eye will get you.
When someone asked me was I not afraid I replied "I am a Chrisitan. I believe
God directs my life, not superstition"
Never did point out the fact that apparently their 'god' is not strong enough to
protect them
