Ok, I've felt quite lost since the madness started. I supported Bernie, and Tulsi. Ive watched hours of Hitchens verbally rendering Christian hucksters, considered myself an atheist and then realized that I valued freedom over all else.
I'm a teacher, and was in no way prepared for the way friends and colleagues would reject evidence. I found a whole new world where the line between reality and what is real gets really blurry sometimes. I'm open to *anything* being true at this point, but SO many of the leftist atheist types bought in and decided freedom wasnt that important. A few have come around and even pretended they never fell for the psyop cough cough Bret Weinstein while most people who were on the right and do, are faithfully Christian and to me, do not apply the same critical lens one needs to see the blur to their existential beliefs.
That is not to say I don't respect the idea that one can hold such beliefs. I have great discussions with the "red-pilled" but most, with few exceptions, have little appreciation for the Hitchslap let alone Joseph Campbell or Alan Watts (and would HATE the Caesar articles) or consider perhaps just maybe, it's all myth.
